We are pleased to share this exceptional project, where our furniture played an important role in the interior design.

Nestled in a breathtaking Alpine landscape, Vila Muhr represents a fusion of tradition and contemporary design. The architectural team at OFIS Arhitekti worked on the villa’s reconstruction, carefully shaping its interior and seamlessly integrating Volumen pieces.

Drawing inspiration from the architectural heritage of the neighboring Hotel Bohinj, the project reinterprets traditional Alpine elements in a sophisticated and innovative way. In this context, Volumen pieces were used with exceptional precision, further enhancing the authenticity of the space.

The design of Vila Muhr follows the historical footprint of the building, demonstrating a strong awareness of heritage—much like how Volumen furniture incorporates timeless aesthetic and functional values into its contemporary design. The solid and compact forms of our pieces stand out in an environment dominated by wood and stone. This combination accentuates the sculptural quality of the forms and the tactile nature of Volumen materials, contributing to the atmosphere of a luxurious mountain retreat.

The reconstruction of Vila Muhr is a perfect blend of architectural heritage and contemporary design, with Volumen furniture playing a vital role in creating a sophisticated and harmonious interior. Through the use of natural materials and carefully crafted forms, the space exudes timeless elegance and authenticity. This project demonstrates how thoughtful design can preserve the spirit of the past while meeting modern aesthetic and functional standards. Vila Muhr stands as an outstanding example of the fusion of tradition and innovation, where each Volumen piece contributes to a unique spatial experience, creating a distinct context.
